My name is Beckie Tinsley and I have been practising as an accredited cognitive behavioural therapy in Derby, Nottingham and across the East midlands for almost ten years. I am committed to encompassing up to date knowledge through evidence based practice, psychodynamic and person centred approaches.
Matching to your presenting problems and aligend with your goals and hopes for change, I endevour to provide a holistic enriching experience of therapy.
In more recent years I have qualified as a registrant hypnotherapist which can be offered as a complimentary addition or as part of a course of hypnotherapy.
I work with both adults and young people on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your quality of life, by developing increased awareness and understanding of whats holding you back, to provoke more consious choices over your behaviour, in a way which is more aligned with who you want to be.
I am experienced in helping clients who are experiencing such difficulties as :
- Fear and Panic
- Worry and Anxiety
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD
- Effected by past trauma
- Low Mood and depression
As well as treating people people with difficulties listed above, my specialism is offering psychological treatment to people who suffer with long term health conditions of a physical nature combined with difficulties with mood or anxiety. In my experience managing physical health conditions as well as side effects of medication can impact on mood and motivation to engage with everyday life.
I offer cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnotherapy, both of which can be tailored to individual needs and can be delivered remotely. Sessions can include walking therapy to meet individual needs and to increase accessibility to therapy, which I am happy to discuss on an individual basis.
I offer clinical supervision for both established therapists and trainee CBT therapists. I can offer both therapy and supervision remotely via zoom or phone call where appropriate.
